Der Dom
I’m going to stick with yesterday’s theme and post another photo of one of Trier’s many churches. This time, it’s the Trierer Dom, the Trier Cathedral, seen here towering over the surrounding buildings. This photo is taken from Liebfrauenstraße.
Ich bleibe beim gestrigen Thema und veröffentlich heute ein weiteres Foto von einer der vielen Trierer Kirchen. Dieses Mal ist’s der Trierer Dom, den man hier sieht wie er die umliegenden Gebäuden überragt. Das Foto wurde in der Liebfrauenstraße gemacht.

Most parts on the picture do not show the Dom but the Liebfrauenkirche. Only the left tower with its spiky roof belongs to the Dom.

@ Ernst: Oh yes, I realise that. That’s what I meant by “towering over”. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough about it.
